It’s election season and instead of sitting on the sideline, I took time to #stayinformed. I am endorsing Michael Jackson for Treasurer.

As County Planning Commission Chairman he took time to educate a very inquisitive and assertive homeowner about the amenity delays in our neighborhood. He explained proffers and their relevance to our community. He relentlessly held community meetings, because he wanted to exhaust every effort

to inform our homeowners and community of what was going on.I asked Mr. Jackson to keep me abreast of any other meetings regarding our community. With all he had going on, he could have referred me to their website and called it a day. But he didn’t! He did not disappoint and stayed true to his commitment of keeping us informed.

I know he has our best interest at heart and is willing to go the extra mile to take care of Chesterfield.

Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger

Andrew Harris

Office of Inspector General - City of Richmond (Retired)

I had the privilege of working with Michael Jackson for about 2 ½ yrs when he was in the Richmond City Auditor's Office. He and the other staff members worked in a very demanding work environment.  In spite of that I found Michael to be a fine person who is committed to good government and using common sense to find solutions to problems.  He was known as a real professional who works well with others, and uses best practices to achieve goals. He is committed to family values and his community.

He will bring these qualities - professionalism, commitment, creative problem-solving - to any future job and that’s why I am endorsing Michael Jackson for Treasurer of Chesterfield County.

Ella Maokhamphiou

Former Senior Auditor- City of Richmond

Michael and I worked together for two years as internal auditors for the City of Richmond. He always went above and beyond expectations when working on a team. He always had a positive attitude when working with audit clients and would go the extra mile to make sure anything he recommended was feasible. Having worked for the City before in an operational department, Michael brought a unique perspective to each audit which was appreciated. I would happily work with Michael again.

The skills he applied at the Auditors Office, researching appropriate resolutions for recommendations, working cooperatively with the audit clients to ensure a smooth audit process, are skills that would allow him to excel as the next Treasurer of Chesterfield County. Michael’s honesty and willingness to go the extra mile are just some of the reasons I endorse him for the position of Chesterfield County’ Treasurer.
